Gutter Installation Guide
Step 1 Placement of gutter hanger.
The contemporary gutter has a .125 aluminum support bracket. The gutter bracket needs to be installed on the gutter liner prior to hanging. The support bracket spacing is 30” on center (see figure 1). CMP supplies 4 brackets per 10’-0” section. Once the brackets are installed at 30” on center, take your drill and drill a hole thru the pre-punched hole in the bracket from the backside of the bracket (see figure 2). This will make installation easer.

Step 2 Sealing the Splice
It is recommended that the area at the splice be cleaned with alcohol to remove any oils from the liner. This will prevent any problems with the splice in the future. CMP supplies 1 - 6” splice per 10’-0” section.
Step 3 Corners & End Caps
The liner corners are installed in the same manner as the 10’-0” section. The splice is installed the same. End caps are sealed in place and pop riveted to prevent movement.
Step 4 Installation of the fascia cover.
Now that the liner is installed you are ready to install the fascia cover. This fascia cover is designed to cover the support brackets. The fascia cover rotates from the top of the bracket downward and snaps on to the bottom of support brackets (see figure 3). The fascia is supplied with a 6” splice. The fascia should have 3 /16 gap for expansion. This method of installation is used on the Contemporary, Colonial and Roman profile.
